Au début de la vidéo le Dr SUBA Csongor prend des empreintes qui seront envoyées au laboratoire de prothèse dentaire à Budapest partenaire de la clinique dentaire. Le prothésiste va préparer un appareil appelé «porte empreinte» avec de la cire. Celui-ci comporte des trous pour que les tiges métalliques quil va visser sur les implants puissent passer au travers des trous.
Les transfert dempreinte sont vissés sur les 4 implants dentaires de la mâchoire inférieure, de même pour la mâchoire supérieure. Ces tiges montrent au prothésiste laxe dans lequel les implants ont été insérés dans la mâchoire.
Vous verrez le dentiste retirer une petite vis à ras de la gencive, cest la vis de cicatrisation qui a pour but de dessiner le contour de la gencive afin que les pièces prothétiques sadaptent parfaitement. Sinon des résidus alimentaires pour rester entre la gencive et causer une infection.
Lassistante dentaire effectue une radio panoramique avec les transferts dempreinte en bouche. Une partie est retirée puis une nouvelle prise dempreinte est effectuée et la partie de la tige restante est conservée dans lempreinte pour envoyer le tout au laboratoire de prothèse dentaire.
Le prothésiste peut alors commencer de fabriquer des blocs avec de la cire qui servent à mesurer la position des mâchoires pour ensuite faire fabriquer les prothèses sur implant.
Un appareil appelé «arc facial» est posé sur le visage du patient afin de mesurer et enregistrer locclusion, les mouvements des articulations de la mâchoire. Des agrafes sont fixées sur les blocs de cire une fois les réglages effectués, ceci pour quils restent bien en place et conservent les mesures effectuées par le dentiste.
Toutes ces étapes sont indolores et elles sont essentielles pour obtenir le maximum de précision.
Le prothésiste peut alors commencer de fabriquer les prothèses avec de la cire. Les dents sont positionnées dessus. Le patient va les essayer pour que le dentiste puisse contrôler la fermeture des mâchoire et il regarde avec le patient la forme et la position des dents. A ce stade il est possible dapporter des modifications importantes.
Si tout est correct, le dentiste visse une barre sur les implants, elle servira à clipser dessus la prothèse. Loutil utiliser pour visser est une clé dynamométrique, comme il en est utilisé en mécanique. Ce type de clé sert à mesurer la force de serrage qui ne doit pas être trop forte ou trop faible.
De la résine composite est posée sur les vis afin déviter quelles se défassent, la lumière violette fait durcir la résine composite.
La prothèse finale fabriquée par le laboratoire à partir de celle en cire (il y a tout un travail qui nest pas présenté dans cette vidéo mais que vous pouvez voir dans une autre de nos vidéos traitant aussi du sujet) est essayée en la clipsant sur la barre, elle même vissée sur les implants.
Le petites morceaux de papier sur lesquels le dentiste fait mordre la patiente servent à mesurer et régler locclusion (fermeture des mâchoires). Les endroits ou les dents touchent trop marquent le papier. Le dentiste va très légèrement limer aux endroits nécessaires jusquà obtenir un équilibre parfait.
Des photos sont prises à la fin mais aussi tout au long du traitement.
Cest fini, la patiente retrouve une dentition fonctionnel, esthétique pour de longues années. Elle devra toutefois revenir faire un contrôle annuel pour que le dentiste puisse démonter la barre, nettoyer et vérifier que tout va toujours bien.

Hi, my name is Cory Glenn. I’m a dentist, speaker, trainer and tech developer. I live in Winchester, TN where I practiced dentistry for 8 years. During that time, I became known as the “Dental MacGyver” for coming up with creative ways to deliver care more affordably and efficiently. However, in 2015, I developed APL leukemia and had to go on medical leave for treatment. After a year long battle, I made a near full recovery with exception of ongoing back issues that have kept me from being able to return to clinical practice. Now that I am a “dry fingered” dentist, I’ve shifted my focus entirely to teaching and development in the field of digital dentistry.
I am the VP of Technology for Blue Sky Bio, a leading implant and software company.
